Boarding rates are based on evening drop-off. Heartlund Kennels considers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as a weekend. These days are charged as weekend rates. If you have any questions, give us a call at 507-387-7550.
Daycare Services
Daycare services are provided (if space is available). The cost is $24.00 per dog. No daycare services on holidays.*
Morning Drop-off
Morning drop-off (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.) is available upon request. We require a one-time charge of $14.00 per dog or $12.00 per dog if multiple dogs are staying.

Early Pick-up Times
A 48-hour notice is required for early pick-up times in order to receive days off bill.
Weekend Rates
Weekend rates apply when your dog stays overnight on a Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday night. The rates are per dog per kennel.
Holiday Rates
There are no pick-up or drop-off times on holidays.*
*Heartlund Kennels is closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Holiday rates will apply to either the day of the holiday or the weekend before or after the holiday. If a holiday lands on a Wednesday, the weekend before and the weekend after are considered a holiday weekend. Holiday rates will be no more than a two-day stay. However, three-day stay holiday rates will apply during Christmas and New Years. For example, if your dog stays seven days, you will be charged the regular rate for five days and the holiday rate for two days.
Additional Fees
Special arrangements for pick-up and drop-off times after hours may be made. Pick-up and drop-off times outside of Heartlund Kennels designated pick-up and drop-off times will result in a fee of $25.00 per dog. Heartlund Kennels reserves the right to add additional fees to daily rates due to additional services required or unruly behavior by dogs as needed without owner’s prior consent.
Medications
Injections and/or medications are an additional fee of $3.00 per day for each dog.
Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled drop-off date will be assessed a $35.00 charge per reserved pen. Cancellations for holiday reservations will be charged an additional $50.00 per reserved pen.
